Lots of traffic in the town of Nepean

CP Ac4400 approaching main near Adams Fuels
Don Leger’s freelanced branch line has been serving Eastern Ontario and parts of Western Quebec since the early 90’s. When CN and CP left the area, the S & N took over carrying tons of freight to clients on both sides of the Ottawa River . Major commodities carried by the Railroad include newsprint, MDF, linerboard, forest products, pulp, gas, lumber & board, wire rod, billets & scrap. When CP abandoned Walkley yards in 1989, The S & N took over, and it’s never been busier.
Great looking shots Don. Your blog is coming along very nicely.
