Scenery added to Viewmount yard

This is a view of Viewmount Yard before scenery was added.


I invited my friend Chris Lyon to show me
the practical way of doing scenery. We removed
the existing buildings. Marked an outline with tape and started
sifting sand over the entire yard.



This shows the landmark Westpark Apartments on the left
and Curtin Manufacturing on the right. The two tracks at
the bottom will soon be extended to the edge of the layout
to provide better switching.



This picture shows a bit more of Viewmount yard.
Chris has mixed in some small shrubs and grasses.



Red Wing Milling and the Single stall Engine shed.
